Abstract

John Dewey had given an engaged character to his epistemology by emphasizing the role of intelligence and knowledge for human life. The work Experience and Nature (1925) reveals the intrinsic relation between experience and nature as well as shows the method developed by the philosopher. Relying on classical pragmatist school, we ask how could thought intervention alter the configuration of the world? This project aims to inquiry the availability of the Deweyan reflections on the above mentioned question by means of a critical evaluation of his thought. (AU)
