Abstract

Micro-apartments in the city of São Paulo are a typology, being one of the most recent models adopted by the real estate market. This research proposes to verify which architectural elements and solutions adopted in micro-apartments in buildings built between 2011 and 2015, in the city of São Paulo, are the most adequate in terms of the thermo-luminous performance. For this purpose, will be conducted: (I) research of recent real estate production of micro apartments in the city of São Paulo; (II) empirical research and thermo-luminous measurements (air temperature, radiant temperature, relative humidity, air speed and illuminance) in an example of micro apartments of the recent production in São Paulo, on which different solutions are presented, allowing to verify the comparative performance of these housing units; (III) treatment of the data collected; and (IV) comparative analysis and discussion of the results, verifying the possible influence of foreign architecture on the thermo-luminous performance and indicating the best solutions found for the urban context and climate of São Paulo.
