Scientific divulgation of research conducted in the universities still occurs in a limited way, however, there is interest of the society on science and technology matters and there is a need to justify investments in the sector, which highlights the importance of producing this type of material. In this way, the present project aims to disseminate the research and results obtained in the projects carried out by the Department of Genetics of the "Luiz de Queiroz" School of Agriculture (ESALQ /USP), with a special focus on the Laboratory of Genetics of Microorganisms "Prof. João Lúcio de Azevedo" using different platforms: ComCiência magazine, Informative Science blog and Oxygen webradio. The project foresees the transposition of the technical language of the contents produced in the University to a non-specialized language, maintaining quality and scientific information, aiming to produce scientific dissemination content for a wider audience.
