Abstract

The purpose of this research project is to approach some concepts, techniques and applications of Algebraic Topology. Initially, Homological Algebra topics will be studied, which are prerequisites for the later development of the singular homology theory and applications, such as the Jordan-Brouwer separation theorem and the invariance of domain theorem.
