Abstract

The study that is going to be done aims training the research fellow on the areas of geochronology U-Pb in zircon and isotopic studies of Hf, as well as collect and treat structural data in metamorphic rocks complexly deformed. These studies are going to be applied to lithostratigraphic, structural and geochronological characterization of the Group Brusque, placed on Dom Feliciano Belt, northeastern of Santa Catarina state.Through these studies it is intended to contribute for the definition of the maximum age of deposition for the metasediments, to establish a lithostratigraphic column of the northeastern part of the Group Brusque and to verify its contacts relations with the gneiss migmatites that form, in the region, the embasement of the Craton Luis Alves.Análises radiométricas U-Pb em zircão detrítico combinadas com dados de eHf e idades Hf modelo permitirão caracterizar as prováveis áreas fonte dos sedimentos que foram depositados na paleobacia Brusque. A deformação das unidades sedimentares e seu metamorfismo também serão abordadas.U-Pb radiometric analyses in detrital zircon combined with eHf and Hf model ages are going to allow characterize the likely source areas for the sediments that have been deposited in the paleo basin Brusque.
