Abstract

Dairy production in Brazil is an important part of the country's economy, and it is necessary to understand the physiology of the levels of production of the species involved in this cycle, in order to improve aspects of disease prevention and treatment. Colostrum is a key part in the formation of neonatal immunity, and its transition to milk in goats has not yet been fully elucidated when it comes to proteome and interactoma, which could help in the future both to ensure the transfer of immunity to newborns. In the early diagnosis of diseases such as Mastitis. Thus, the objective of this work is to determine the proteins presented from colostrum to milk after calving, in addition to comparing if there is difference between species of goats, other species and the correlation with diseases such as AVEC and Mastitis. The study will be conducted in the large animal sector of UNESP/FMVA and in a dairy goat farm. The proteome and interactoma analyzes will be performed following the methodologies proposed in this work according to some research groups. The results presented may provide new insights into the in vivo epithelial response after delivery, as well as pave the way for the discovery of protein biomarkers for monitoring both immunity transfer deficits, diseases such as AVEC, as well as early diagnosis of diseases such as Mamitis.
