Abstract Since it is not simple to quantize the standard ten-dimensional superparticle in a covariant way, one needs to look for other approaches or methods to address this problem. The supertwistor description of ten-dimensional superparticle provides us an elegant way to describe ten-dimensional super Yang-Mills as physical states of the corresponding supertwistor Hilbert space. This suggests a possible ambitwistor formulation of ten-dimensional super Yang-Mills using supertwistor variables. BRST cohomology, vertex operators and n-point correlation functions are planned to be studied in this new ambitwistor string. | |
