Abstract

This research is proposes to analyze the construction of the fact in Data Journalism. The work will contemplate the elements that confer characteristics of a referential language to this type of journalism, considering the use of textual elements and other discursive sources. For this purpose, the discourse analysis will be the methodologies that will guide the study that will observe the way the characters are characterized in these subjects, the thematic directions, the bases of measurements of the data and selection of there elements that will allow observation the construction of these events. These aspects will be analyzed, empirically, in selected journalistic vehicles - Folha de S. Paulo, O Globo, La Nación and Clarín - and will report how this construction takes place in different themes. (AU)
