Abstract

The present project proposes a research internship abroad as part of the FAPESP master's scholarship (Sage code process: 2017/0712-5). It intends to realize a research internship in the Department of Social Anthropology of the University of Oslo aiming to deepen theoretical questions which endorse the master project in Brazil, as well as to get in touch with recent academic productions and bibliographical resources available at the institution. The main secondary objectives are: (1) investigate the specific uses of gender, as a disputed political category, both in recent academic analysis and in Norwegian public policies; (2) make a scholar incursion in the field of anthropology of development with special attention to the discussion about social problems constructions made by international cooperation agencies, as well as those relating to feminist and post-colonial studies and critical theories of development apparatuses.
