Abstract

Propolis is a phytobiotic resin from various plant sources that is collected and processed by bees. To your composition suffers variations according to the fabric of the region collected, season and even genetic traits of bees. In view of your great importance, the present work aims to evaluate the anti-inflammatory potential of green propolis extract and fractions in hexane, ethyl acetate, methanol and water in order to serve as directed study to assessing the phytochemical propolis extract provided for in the project 2017/04138-8. Therefore, the nociceptive and anti-inflammatory potential will be assessed through formalin test. Therefore, this work will assist to better understanding and use of green propolis.
