Abstract

This research project aims to study the residents who live in the railway yard and live in the railway village of Assis nowadays, with the purpose of knowing the relationship of these residents with the ruins and how these memories contribute to the elaboration of their subjectivities. From a bibliographic survey made in the SciELO database it was possible to verify the lack of work with psychological biases addressing the subjectivity in cultural heritage. This project intends the research to bring a more humane look to these discussions making use of psychological practices, mainly psychosocial, which could collaborate in patrimonial preservation actions. For this, interviews with 12 of these residents will be done using the oral history method, which is commonly used by anthropology, but easily adapted to psychology. Expect, that just as the railroad at the beginning of its implantation caused great transformations in the life of those who lived with it, it still reverberates in its ruins and in the identifications and present ways of thinking of those who live in its old buildings and villages, which can be verified through of the analysis of their recognized subjectivities in their memories. The expected result is due to the analysis of these memorialist narratives, that can be affirmed that this interaction between the residents and the railway set of Assis contributes to the elaboration of their subjectivity.
