Abstract

One of the challenges of endodontics, especially in relation to materials science, is the development of materials that promotes regeneration and/or repairs of pulp/periapical tissue. Therewith, new endodontic materials have been proposed. However, before the clinical application and commercialization of these new materials several laboratory tests are requires. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate the physicochemical propriety of two root-end filling experimental tricalcium silicate based sealer (CER 1 e CER 2) and compare with the endodontic sealer MTA and Biodentine. To analysis of radiopacity and setting time the ISO 6876/2001 specification will be follow. The solubility will be performed according to ISO 6876/2012 specification and by volumetric analysis methodology in Micro-CT. According to the data obtained, the results will be submitted to D'Agostino and Pearson tests to verify the normal distribution for choosing the most appropriate statistical test (p<0.05).
