Abstract

This proposal aims to assess the immunogenicity of the antigenic preparations based on OMVs of Neisseria meningitidis B complexed to two different adjuvants, the cationic lipid DODAB-BF and aluminum hydroxide in elderly mice immunized by subcutaneous injection. We will used isogenic mice female BALB/c and/Sn with approximately 360 days of life.To characterize the interaction of antigens with Cationic lipids will be assessed the average diameter, the indices of polidispersão and zeta potential. The OMVs and whole cells of the strain used in this study are characterized by SDS-PAGE. To evaluate the immune response of animals shall be carried out using ELISA and ELISpot techniques. The mice will be immunized by subcutaneous injection.
