Abstract

The present research aims to examine, in Orides Fontela's poems book Alba (1983), the disarticulation of her lyrical objectivism, guided by a "horizon structure" instituted of what will be denominated "semantic of proximity". It is believed that such mobilization of the lyric self takes place through the inter-relation between the "self" and the real objectives, in a manner these instances have a reciprocal experience faced with a process of a lyric subject "out the self" construction/deconstruction, continuously "attentive to the real". On observing this double movement, the hypothesis of the present research is developed: Orides Fontela's process writing is characterized by a "objective lyricism", a supposedly self-contradictory lyrical category, which could be performed facing a tense coexistence of the poetic self and the "objective register" instituted in her poems, suitable in the "semantic of proximity" designed text-a-text by the poet. In the theoretical analysis it is highlighted Michel Collot's essay "O sujeito lírico fora de si" (2004), and his books La poésie moderne et la structure d'horizon (2005) and La matière-émotion (1997); Maurice Blanchot's O livro por vir (2013), and O espaço literário (1987), in order to guide the hypothesis related to the power and force of the poetic language creation, the movement of the lyric subject "out the self", of the "horizon structure" and the "objective lyricism". The methodology of the analysis for the literary corpus prioritizes the critical appreciation of the poems contained in the book Alba which are going to be examined from the theoretical background elected in this study, as well as from Orides Fontela's "critical essays".
