Abstract

The IC research project will address the subject of sexuality and sex education, articulated with the discussion on sexual violence, which affects a significant portion of children and adolescents in Brazil, among graduating students in Geography. Taking into account the relevance of the insertion of sex education projects with adolescents in educational settings and difficulties of education professionals in dealing with this issue, we wrote this project that aims to know and analyze the conceptions about sexuality, sex education and sexual violence of students and graduates of the Geography Course of UNESP. In terms of methodology, it will be used questionnaire with multiple choices, self-applied questions, whose items are on the subjecting question. The participants of the survey will be all students, beginners and graduating at the year of 2019, in both periods. The results will be tabulated in the SPSS software, and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. We believe that the results will help to understand the limits of future education professionals, approaching this subject in schools, as well as thinking about ways of promoting initial and ongoing training in this field, in order to enable them to intervene in this area with greater competence and security, being able to act as agents of protection in the lives of children and adolescents.
