Abstract

Since its first edition, the Executive-Legislative Interaction Patterns project organizes and updates the Cebrap Legislative Database. Throughout the project, the bank has become increasingly complex, unfolding in independent databases, currently contains four large groups of data, complemented by smaller and more specific banks, divided according to the type of information, its location and collection methodology. These are the relevant information about the Brazilian legislative production, the Union Budget, the career of parliamentarians and roll-call votes. The information contained in these banks are crucial for characterizing the functioning of Coalition Presidentialism and by their nature, they demand constant updating. This information, besides benefiting the numerous research fronts linked to the Thematic, are distributed to national and international researchers. The organization of these data is undoubtedly one of the major contributions of the thematic project and has collaborated in a systematic way for the opening of new research fronts on the Brazilian political system and for comparative studies.
