Abstract

The stigma and prejudice of professionals about the use of alcohol and other drugs and the users of these substances affect professional practice, quality of care, adherence to treatment and prevention. The formative processes in the area can contribute to the deconstruction of the stigma and change the behavior of the participants during and after the courses, resulting in possible practices that best respond to user’s demands.
