Abstract

We consider spatial practices, as a everyday life practices, a dimension in which experiences of living space and time, including action, praxis and imagination, take place in the fluidity and repetition of urban rhythms. According to Catalão (2010, 121), it is "in everyday life that the spaces of the house, of shopping, of walks, of work, gain the meanings that are conferred by usages, for they are forms by means of which individuals appropriate them, from the world [...] palpable and appropriable, the banal, the 'spaces of the lived' ".
