Abstract

Period of technological advent coming from the information era. This time-space, which concomitantly leads to modifications in science and in the elaboration of scientific research. Exponentially generated mass data covering all areas of knowledge. By this parameter, the present research is presented in a theoretical-applied qualitative scope, in order to correlate concepts of Digital Curation and Research Data Management. In fact, it has been that data, when managed, understood, treated, preserved and reused appropriately, can serve as an information resource for the diffusion of science and development of research and scientific knowledge. The aim is to analyze and reflect on the question: as the two approaches are correlated and, in their summation, are linked to the domain of "data" for dissemination of information and scientific knowledge? It is through this domain that one aims at to explain on the Digital Curation and its importance for the Research Data Management.
