Abstract

The experiment will be conducted in a completely randomized design with 2x2 factorial scheme and 4 replicates. The factors will correspond to (I) two strategies of mixing of the volumoso with the concentrate, represented by the silage of total ration (SRT) and total ration (RT); and (II) two conditions for harvesting the Mombasa grass; when it reaches 70 and 130 cm of height in relation to the soil, after defoliation. The composition of the mixtures was formulated to meet the requirements of lactating cows with a mean production of 15 L of milk, being isonitrogenated (17.8% PB) and 50% DM as bulky (grass). The treatments will correspond to SRT_70: SRT composed of Mombaça grass harvested with 70 cm of height + 50% of concentrate (ensilado all together); SRT_130: SRT composed of Mombaça grass harvested with 130 cm of height + 50% of concentrate (ensilado all together); RT_70: RT composed by the mixture of the Mombasa grass silage harvested at 70 cm height + 13.7% of citrus pulp in DM (8% in natural matter) and 36.3% of concentrate (mixed after ready silage) and , RT_130: RT composed by the mixture between the Mombasa grass silage harvested with 130 cm height + 13.7% of citrus pulp in DM (8% in natural matter) and 36.3% of concentrate (mixed after ready silage) . The pH, N-ammoniacal, PB, FDN, FDA, ethereal extract, mineral matter, DIVMO and fermentation capacity will be evaluated in the silages. Statistical analyzes will be performed using the SAS statistical program, applying the Tukey test with the interaction of significant interactions (Pd0.05).
