Abstract

The main objective of this project is to investigate the experience of prospective mathematics teachers enrolled in the training degree at UNICAMP aiming at understanding what are the influences behind the particularly lowcompletion rate in this degree. A secondary objective is to understand the profile of those who choose this career at UNICAMP, aiming atdeveloping strategies to attract and increase the interest for such an important career for the development of Brazilian education.
