Abstract

This project proposes the development of a platform composed of silica nanoparticles coated with oligomers of methacrylate gluconamide and functionalised with monoclonal antibodies that recognise a cell wall protein, with the possibility of being encapsulated with antibiotics. In this way, a multifunctional nanoparticle that aims to specifically bind bacteria without losing the biological activity.
