Abstract

Silver and gold nanoparticles have been extensively employed as SERS probes for the detection of chemical and biological species. Our proposal starts with the development of SERS probes; exploring, in the sequence, their association with superparamagnetic nanoparticles aiming the magnetic confinement on electrode surfaces. Finally, it focus on the spectroelectrochemical response of the plasmonic, magnetic, electrochemical sensor. Magnetic confinement of the conjugated nanoparticles will enhance the SERS signals, and by scanning the potentials, it will be possible to probe the redox species generated on the magnetic SERS probes, monitoring their spectroelectrochemical Raman signals.
