Abstract

The present study has as its theme the racial prejudice existing inside schools, aimed at afro-descendant students and arose from the experiences during the undergraduate course and from the observation of these situations in internship situations. Its objective is to investigate the perception of elementary school children, about Racism, Prejudice, and the stigmas linked to the black population, which manifest themselves in the school environment. To develop the research, based on a qualitative approach, a bibliographic research will be carried out with the survey of scientific productions published by authors who identify with the anti-racist struggle, and that address the research theme, we will seek the bibliographic productions that address in their studies content that allows us to build knowledge on the topics under study: black children's self-perception of racism, racial prejudice directed at black children in the school space, discriminatory practices against this population and impacts on them. So we chose to do an exploratory-descriptive research, from which we will select scientific productions (TCCs / dissertations / theses, books and scientific articles), prepared by scholars who identify with the anti-racist struggle, whose object of study is directly linked to the theme of our research, and that were published / produced in the period from 2010 to 2020.
