Abstract

The analysis of medications with voice adverse effects provides relevant data to the clinical voice practice. It is essential for the health professionals involved in voice care to be aligned with the Voice Pharmacovigilance subject in order to understand the adverse effects in voice based on safe and reliable sources. Objective: To compare voice adverse effects from medications self-reported by dysphonic individuals in different sources of information. Methods: Descriptive study of Active Ingredients self-reported by dysphonic individuals and their voice adverse effects listed in the Anvisa Electronic Database. The adverse effects will be compared between Anvisa Electronic Database and the information present in the Micromedex and Up To Date databases. Collected data will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, with tests to be chosen later.
