Abstract

After conducting a review and identification of the rail heritage of Rio Claro - SP, from the theoretical-methodological concepts of the cultural landscape, the purpose of this research is to perform an analysis about the rioclarense rail system. This analytical process will be carried out with the analysis of the industrial landscape of this transportation system. This project will continue two years of scientific research (Process FAPESP N° 2017/01780-0) aimed at identifying the justifications for protection of FEPASA Station and the Eucalyptus Garden and Museum. As well as conservation policies, uses and states for goods. However, given the identification of isolated protections and divergences in protection justifications, the continuity and expansion of the study was necessary. Thus, the review and identification of the entire railroad system through the cultural landscape was performed. Therefore, it is intended at this moment to analyze this transportation system as an industrial landscape. To carry out this study, will be conducted surveys of bibliographical, theoretical, documentary, cartographic materials, use of geoprocessing software as an analytical technical tool, identification of urban, heritage and tourism policies, interviews and analysis sheets. At the end of this, it is expected to obtain as a result the analysis of a productive system from the conception of industrial landscape, in order to present the need for expansion and modification of its legal protection.
