Abstract

Objective: to verify the effectiveness of clinical simulation activities in a nursing undergraduate program. Method: It is a quantitative descriptive study. Sample will be comprised by Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade de São Paulo undergraduate students, who are 18-year-old or more, and participated in clinical simulation activities. Three self-reported instruments will be used to collect data: Simulation Effectiveness Tool - Modified (SET-M) Versão Brasileira; a tool to collect sociodemographic data; and a tool to collect data on the clinical simulation characteristics (for example: type, duration, number of participants). Data will be analyzed by descriptive statistics. Expected results: availability of evidence to inform decisions on planning, developing and evaluation of the clinical simulation in nursing education.
