Abstract

Increasing yield, reduction on expanses with agricultural suplies and controll erosive process are benefits that the no-tillage system (NTS) take to producer and environment. Among the limitations of no-tillage system it's possible to highlight the straw quantity to significantly weed control and the pre-emergent herbicide interceptation due the straw. The herbicides interceptation analysis by straw havn't been occuring especificly, because of this, it's necessary to bring under consideration like influential variable the straw type and composition, as well as the active ingredient properties. Therefore, the puporse of this project is to assess the pre-emergent herbicides behaviour applied on straw of different cover crops, to analyze the herbicide interceptation caused by straw and also to evaluate herbicides mobility in straw and soil. Plants of black oats (Avena sativa), turnip (Brassica rapa subsp. rapa) and buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) will be cultivated, a pretests stage will be performed on purpose to make possible an adaptation on oficial methodology to assess the straw interceptation on herbicides. Sorption-desorption and leaching herbicide in straw and soil will be performed in function of straw amount and type. Will be made separeted studies to each herbicide (diclosulan and diuron), the experimental design will be completely randomized in 3x3 factorial scheme with two replications. Each study will have one of the herbicides, three straw types (black oats, turnip and buckwheat) three straw quantity (0; 5 e 10 t.ha-1). Some necessary aspects about the Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and straw physicochemical analysis will be tested in pretests stage, where they will help to understand how occurs the herbicide-straw interation. Based on the observations and experimental results, is expected to obtain the herbicide-straw interation assess, identify the each herbicide behavior in each straw type and the influence of this in your environmental dinamic.
