Abstract

The present project aims to:- Analyze the process of creation and implementation of Integrative and Complementary Practices (PIC) in primary health care (APS) services of the Regional Health Department III (DRS III) of the State of São Paulo;- Identify which PIC are offered in the APS services, in the municipalities of DRS III of the State of São Paulo; and- Analyze the factors that facilitate and hinder the offer of PIC and RM in the services of the APS, in the municipalities that are part of DRS III of the State of São Paulo, according to workers that render PIC in the Unified Health System - SUS in the municipalities of DRS III. It is a study with approach quantitative and qualitative, which data will be gathered through semi structured questionnaire and interviews and analyzed with descriptive statistics and thematic content analysis. It is expected, with this study, to obtain an initial diagnosis of the process of organizing the PIC in the APS services, knowing and analyzing which PIC are offered, in which health services, which professionals, as well as the factors related to the offer of these therapeutic approaches in the DRS III. Consequently, it is expected that this analysis may support the construction of strategies to expand and strengthen the integrative and complementary practices in the APS services, thus contributing to the consolidation of an entire model of care in the SUS.
