Abstract Landform characterization, landscape superficial structure analysis and morphodynamics are the three pillars that will be applied in the presente research proposal, aiming to analyse Holocenic superficial formations in the coastal landscape, thus advancing discussions over low terrace's genesis and evolution, by means of spatial and geochronological analysis, correlated with eustatic movements, originated by climate pulsations. The area of analysis will be São Francisco's low course, having as methodology and leading wire the Optically Estimulated Luminescence method, aiming to provide the absolute geochronology from the studied deposits, integrating sediment and chemical analyzis in conjunction with biomineralizations from the unities involved, identifying continuity and discontinuity characteristics. Having as support the systemic approach in order to acknowledge the dynamics which developed the local formations. | |
