Abstract

The project aims to collect primary and secondary qualitative and quantitative data on research, institutions and the academic production related to core of Artificial Intelligence research in order to understand the socio-political historical development of this scientific area. The collected data will be displayed on an interactive data visualization platform that will serve as a repository of scientific memory of the area. We will analyze a.) Beliefs, perspectives and values of the scientific communities that make up the field of Artificial Intelligence, b.) The practices that involve disputes around the validation of data, methods, techniques and theories in the field of Artificial Intelligence and c.) disputes between "external" agents, such as the wider society, the government, companies.
