Abstract

The student will use twistors in the context of four-dimensional super-Yang-Mills and AdS5xS5 to simplify the calculation of scattering amplitudes of the superstring in an AdS5xS5 background. Although many calculations have been performed using twistors in super-Yang-Mills theory in four dimensions, almost no calculations have been performed using twistors in an AdS5xS5 background. These calculations will hopefully be useful for proving the Maldacena conjecture in the limit of small AdS radius. (AU)
