Abstract

The research to reduce the emission of polluting gases and the pressure for the use of biofuels motivate the development of hybrid vehicles that allow efficient and stable energy operation with reduced environmental impacts. The interaction between the different devices of a hybrid vehicle can be understood as a hybrid microgrid, whose energy management is an essential step for an optimal, viable and sustainable operation. This doctoral scholarship application proposes the development of an energy management system in microgrids through hierarchical multilevel control for the integration of the various devices of a hybrid-flex light vehicle (VHF). Initially, the modeling of the various components of the microgrid is developed, including its dimensioning. For management, the initial strategy is the use of droop control at the primary level and then strategies based on the use of fuzzy logic, consensus and sliding modes at the secondary level will be considered and proposed. The experimental validation of the proposed management system of a hybrid vehicle is foreseen with the construction of the vehicle in a project financed by the Rota2030 program that has a partnership with other research institutions.
