Abstract Taking the context of contamination between art and technology, we seek to understand multisensory poetics, observing the artist's perceptive experience as a "own body" (MERLEAU-PONTY, 1999) that operationalizes/mobilizes "incorporations" (IHDE, 2009) in the "abstract, practical and conceptual dimensions" (REY, 2002) of the work being done. In Sensitive to Pleasure (2010) and Omnipresence (1993), multisensoriality guides the interactor's attention to the sense of nociception, as technological objects together with the body attitude formalize pain as an operative action (REY, 2002) of artistic language. Since the works manifest in their nature the appropriation of contents from other fields of knowledge, the methodological operation is validated in the context of contemporary art and philosophy of technology as dialogues between concepts of different epistemologies, through an interdisciplinary approach between neuroscience, anthropology, phenomenology.
