Abstract

The best health care model combines the best techniques and technologies to solve health problems, according to the population's health needs, in an equitable, effective and efficient way. PHC, mainly through the Family Health Strategy, offers the best response to these needs, especially in remote rural contexts, which are far from large urban centers and have high population shortages. However, most health strategies are developed considering the urban space, ignoring rural locations and their specific populations, which end up having to adapt them alone, without the corresponding resources. Place constitutes, therefore, a relevant intersectional category, with urban and global dominance and forms of oppression of rural social space, generating great inequities. The aim of this project is to assess which PHC organizational models reduce intersectional inequities and bring better health outcomes in remote rural contexts. Therefore, it is intended to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the different organizational models using the health production model in rural socio-environmental spaces. The dimensions of human, material and financial resources will be evaluated, with emphasis on team arrangements, the results of PHC health actions and the final health impacts. The methodology used will be the fixed effects model and data envelopment analysis, cross-sectioned by the dimensions of intersectional inequities and permeability to globalization.
