Abstract

Introduction: Undergraduate courses in the area of health can play an important rolein promoting concepts and skills in their students regarding human error and patientsafety. Studies show that, when presented to this theme, students are encouraged andrecognize the relevance of the content for their training, in addition to being identifiedwith a great impact on the care provided to the patient. Methodological that aims tosemantically validate an instrument for measuring knowledge about patient safety inundergraduate nursing academics, starting from face and content validation by judgesand semantic validation by undergraduate nursing students in one higher educationinstitutions.
