Abstract

This Scientific Initiation project aims to study the electroactive properties oforganically modified silica hybrid films (named as ormosil) containing metallicnanoparticles (gold or silver) and Keggin-type polyoxometalates. The electroactivity of the films for bromate and uric acid, using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry will be explored. Spectroscopic and morphological techniques can help to understand the reactivity of these films in the presence of nanoparticles. We hope that this study can contribute tounderstanding systems able to identify molecules using nanoparticles.
