Abstract

This Scientific Initiation project aims to investigate the electroactive properties of layer-by-layer hybrid films containing metallic nanoparticles (gold or silver) and Keggin-type polyoxometalates. Electroactivity will be evaluated for chlorate and folic acid using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. Atomic force microscopy can help to understand the reactivity through the morphology of these films. We hope that this study can contribute to the development of useful molecular recognition systems.
