Abstract

This Scientific Initiation activity plan is part of the FAPESP thematic project Vulnerabilities of young people to STI/HIV and dating violence: evaluating a human rights-based psychosocial intervention (FAPESP 2017/25950-2). The study takes place at the same school where I studied and was a Scientific Initiation Scholarship Holder in High School, associated with the thematic project.The project aims to describe mobilizing experiences of trans students' response towards the mitigation of discrimination, violence, and other rights violations that affect their lives. The methodology, based on a planned intervention, focuses on how literary texts help trans people in their acceptance process. In individual interviews with trans and non-binary students, I will co-produce with these young people suggestions for literary texts on gender diversity and transexuality that can mobilize the reflection of peers and teachers in the direction of an inclusive education, and the awareness and promotion of rights of trans students. Inspired by the references of the thematic, the Human Rights and Vulnerability framework, and from the theories that indicate the potential of the use of literature for the reflective process of humanization - broadening perspectives on something, and even therapeutic, of conflict elaboration in a psychoanalytic approach.
