Abstract This project focuses on studying third-order nonlinear processes occurring in optical microcavities. The main objective is to explore the generation of optical parametric oscillation, with a specific emphasis on degenerate, dual-pumped, parametric processes. We aim to explore the generation of non-degenerate optical parametric oscillation for the purpose of generating binary phase states. The project seeks to advance our understanding of these phenomena and their potential applications in the field of quantum random number generation. (AU) | |
