Abstract

The #Adote project is a teaching method that is based on social media, with the strands "Adopt a bacteria" and "Adopt a microorganism", and aims to enhance the active learning process through an approach centered on the ideology " learn to learn". #Adote is a hybrid project and is based on several activities, in which undergraduate students act as disseminators on topics related to science. In this scenario, the project increases the engagement of undergraduate students in activities outside the university walls, so that they can improve their professional and pedagogical training through collective interaction. The objective of the CI proposal will be the dissemination of knowledge in microbiology to Basic Education students, with the aim of increasing their interest in Science, in addition to the opportunity to work collaboratively to meet the needs of the community.
