Abstract

This work plan is focused on the use of active methodologies considering Activity theory aimed at the initial and continued training of Natural Science teachers. It is supported by SDG 4 - quality education. This research aims to carry out a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) within the scope of science, providing methodological rigor and discovering new gaps in different areas of knowledge, as well as gathering more solid evidence within the scope of academic production, in particular a survey on what has been done on initial and continuing training of Natural Sciences teachers. In turn, the study focused on the empirical approach focuses on analyzing which senses and meanings about learning and teaching Natural Sciences topics are produced by higher education students in training together with teachers exercising their teaching practice, both gathered at PLIC/USP. The proposal for training and data analysis will be based on historical-cultural theory, particularly Engeström's Theory of Activity, adjusted to the thematic axis of active methodologies in the teaching of Natural Sciences. In both cases, a qualitative, analytical, and investigative approach will be carried out, supported using software, including NVivo. At the end of the process, the production of articles resulting from the research processes and the training of Natural Sciences students and teachers throughout the process are expected.
