Abstract

This is an observational, non-analytical, cross-sectional, double-blind study aimed at analyzing maximum bite force in a fully edentulous population rehabilitated with two types of complete dentures. Participants of both sexes (N=30) will be evenly divided between groups to ensure a similar number of male and female participants in each group. Participants will receive a previously approved Informed Consent Form (ICF) from the Research Ethics Committee (REC) and will then be subdivided into two groups. Group 1 (n=15) will receive conventional upper complete dentures and lower implant-supported complete dentures, while Group 2 (n=15) will be rehabilitated with implant-supported bimaxillary prostheses. Maximum bite force measurement will be performed using a gnathodynamometer. The obtained values will undergo statistical analysis for further interpretation and discussion.
