Abstract

Brazil's territory encompasses a rich network of hydrographic basins that have historically favored the development of the hydroelectric industry, as is the case of Companhia Energética de São Paulo (CESP), which had a strong presence in the 20th century in the construction of dams and hydroelectric power plants. Concomitantly, to support the works, residential nuclei were built, with the district of Porto Primavera, now belonging to the municipality of Rosana, being the company's last experience. The district was conceived as a permanent nucleus to support the construction works of the Engenheiro Sérgio Motta Hydroelectric Power Plant, but which would contribute to the development and occupation of the Pontal do Paranapanema region, in the extreme west of the state of São Paulo. This research aims to analyze the urban form of the Porto Primavera district, relating it to the concepts and parameters of the original residential nucleus plan. For this purpose, the method of tripartite vision is used, analyzing the urban plan, the urban fabric and the land use and occupation of the plan proposed by CESP and the current district.
