Abstract The exposome is a set of internal and external factors we are exposed to on a daily basis that affect the health of our skin and hair. Internal factors include sleep quality, diet, and stress, while external factors mainly include exposure to sunlight and air pollution. Excessive exposure to these factors accelerates skin and hair aging due to free radical oxidation, which is often not adequately neutralized by the body's antioxidant defenses. To combat these effects, it is necessary to develop multifunctional cosmetic formulations that offer sun protection and antioxidant action, such as the use of Olive Leaf Extract, obtained through a sustainable process, which has beneficial antioxidant properties for both skin and hair, in addition to being sustainably developed and in line with the main trends of the Green Tech cosmetics market. Considering that the development of sunscreen and cosmetic products for skin and hair involves the evaluation of the stability, rheological behavior, sensory analysis and clinical efficacy of the formulations, the present study aims to develop and evaluate the clinical efficacy of cosmetic formulations for skin and hair containing Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract (and) Maltodextrin using biophysical and skin imaging techniques. | |
