Abstract

This study investigates the perceptions of professionals at AGEING@LAB in Portugal regarding the relevance of the Multidimensional Health Assessment of Older Adults (AMD) and activities aimed at the elderly, with the goal of promoting healthy aging in line with the targets set by the Decade of Healthy Aging (2021-2030) of the World Health Organization (WHO). Through electronic questionnaires, the research seeks to identify how professionals perceive the impact of AMD and activities on the well-being of older adults, as well as to map the challenges and facilitators encountered in implementing these practices. With a quantitative-qualitative approach, the study aims to provide insights that can guide health policies and practices directed at the elderly population in global contexts. It is expected to identify effective practices, ethical and operational challenges, as well as offer recommendations to enhance the application of AMD, promoting active and healthy aging.
