Abstract

The development of faculty members is fundamental for advancing interprofessional education initiatives in health. This research aims to understand the perceptions of educators and facilitators who work as healthcare professionals regarding this topic. A qualitative study will be conducted to understand the phenomenon through semi-structured interviews with key participants, members of the Brazilian Network for Interprofessional Education and Work in Health, who have experience in the study's subject matter. Participants will be invited to reflect on the topic by identifying competencies for faculty development in interprofessional health education, considering methodological and assessment strategies. The data will be recorded, fully transcribed, and subjected to thematic content analysis using N-VIVO software.
