Abstract

This project aims at the development of modeling, simulation, and optimization of an integrated green hydrogen production system via electrolysis powered by solar photovoltaic energy, considering Unicamp as a case study. The study is part of the Agrovoltaica project, an initiative developed by the Campus Sustentável Unicamp and CPTEn, which seeks to integrate renewable electricity generation and hydrogen production with sustainable agriculture, as well as to improve water resource management. The research will utilize computational tools, such as Python, for the modeling of systems including the solar plant, hydrogen plant, as well as storage and water resource systems for the process. The study will cover the survey of the main technologies associated with renewable energies, the final use of hydrogen, and the optimized sizing of generation. The demands of hydrogen storage systems will be considered, with future applications in the mobility sector, ammonia production, and other uses. (AU)
