Abstract

20 Wistar rats weighing 250-300 grams are anesthetized with isoflurane and remifentanil by continuous infusion to achieve D nephrectomy and renal artery clamping and for a period of 30 minutes. The animals will be divided into two study groups according to volume replacement performed: Ringer's lactate or starch hidroxietil. Blood samples taken before performing nephrectomy and renal ischemia after releasing the clamp, after 30 minutes and postoperative immediately for assay of creatinine and NGAL. These doses will be compared to the criterion of Rifle. (AU)
