Abstract

This research will evaluate the consumption, digestibility and ruminal parameters of cattle fed on corn silage additives with homolactic bacterial inoculants and heterolactic bacterial inoculants. The treatments will be CT - control non-inoculated corn silage; TB - corn silage inoculated with Lactobacillus buchneri; TBP - corn silage inoculated with Lactobacillus buchneri + Lactobacillus plantarum. To ensure that the diet is at least 7% CP in DM, necessary for proper activity of cellulolytic rumen microorganisms, will make the correction to fix the protein value through the use of urea / ammonium sulfate. The experiment will be a Latin square 3x3 double, consisting of three animals, three treatments and three periods. For this, will be used six castrated steers Nellore, with rumen fistulated. The data submitted to ANOVA and averages are compared by Tukey test at a significance level of 5%.
